I spent part of this afternoon making sauer kraut.
It’s not a taste I particularly enjoy, but it’s a fantastic probiotic so is great for gut healing.
Despite the fact that it’s made out of cabbage, this is fine for people on a low fodmaps diet.
The taste does grow on you, for many people we’re just not used to eating bitter foods – give it a go and let me know what you think!
